Adam Wainwright failed to pitch a complete game shutout - only lasting six innings versus the Dodgers Saturday. He even walked a batter! Supposedly it was hot out - triple digits or something - and that affected Wainwright on the mound. All we know is that Wainwright better get his ERA below two. It’s way above that mark, sitting at 2.02.
Also, Wainwright improved to 10-0 at Busch Stadium this season.
