The Blues offense retained some of their offense firepower today after extending Alex Steen for four more years.
“Four years, I’m more than happy,” said Steen, who is vacationing with his wife in Greece. “St. Louis is where I want to be … the Blues really gave me a shot at playing both sides of the game.”
Some might few this as a bit reactionary as this past year was Steen’s best. But we really like this move by the Blues - even though the details of the contract are not known yet. Steen’s motor was huge for the Blues last season and we hope he can continue to improve through the next.
