It really is no surprise - even with Landon Donovan in NYC - that LA Galaxy finally overwhelmed AC St. Louis in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open.
From what we gathered from the Galaxy’s Cover it Live coverage, AC St. Louis started out very aggressive - they were even tied for shots on goal through the first half - but eventually gave way to the MLS team. The person in charge of the live blog seemed impressed by AC St. Louis in the early going.
AC St. Louis returns home to face off against the Carolina Railhawks July 3.
